River Valley Rods & Customs is a corporation, not for profit, under Section 1702.01 et. seq. of the Ohio Revised Code. The club was founded in 1988. We keep an average of 39 members with several vehicles ranging from 1929 to 2002. We enjoy getting together, having fun, raising money and awareness for charitable organizations and causes, and keeping the cruise-in alive. River Valley Rods & Customs officers for 2005 are Lowell Bixler (President), Bill Lecrone (Vice President) and Steve Shaeffer (Treasurer). New officers are elected annually. To be eligible to run for office you must attend at least six meetings per year. For all other members attending meetings is not a requirement of membership. We have and maintain our own sound equipment. D.J. Stan The Man With A Plan MC’s all of our shows and does a wonderful job! All the equipment is brought to events in a walk-in step van that is bought and maintained by the club members. All of our Cruise-Ins feature music, 50/50 tickets, door prizes (for adults & kids), games (for adults & kids), and raffles. Trophies and dash plaques are awarded at the end of every Cruise. All of our shows are Family Oriented Events! River Valley Rods & Customs help host the annual Earth Angel Super Cruise (www.earthangelfoundation.com) at the Fairfield County fairgrounds. We are willing to work with other clubs and/or corporations when the need for a benefit cruise arises. The following club members are also board members of the Earth Angel Foundation: Linda Donovan, Lowell Bixler, and Bill Lecrone. |
